The ARC sideboard is an exceptional piece of furniture, decorated with ornate blue Azulejos tiles. An exclusive creation of art and design for an extraordinary decor.
One of a kind, out of the range, exclusive, the ARC sideboard by BAT EYE is the object of the highest standards in furniture making. Looking at it, you pick up the spirit of Porto and its Azulejos décor, the whole thing flooded with an incomparable lapis blue. A hallmark of designer and architect Marco Sousa, the ARC sideboard is inspired by the Louis 1st bridge in Porto, built between 1851 and 1886 by the engineer Théophile Seyrig who was a pupil of no other than Gustave Eiffel.
This is proof that a piece of furniture can be esthetic, functional and steeped in history. Its myriad drawers, fronted in satin-finished wood show 44 different ornate patterns of sculpted, hand-painted Azulejos tiles. This trunk of secrets sits atop a double stainless steel arch.
As tradition would have it, the Portuguese artisans invested as much of their characteristic savoir-faire into this creation as they would for any other pieces of the BAT EYE collection.
The ARC sideboard is distinguished by its charisma, authenticity and would most definitely be the key piece of your interior design.
