STONE is an exceptional sideboard, a lovely reminder of the granite found everywhere in the city of Porto. But mostly for this piece, the resemblance is more apparent in the way the spaces are laid out, in a faux-disorganised way. This assembly of rocks, delicately placed on a metal frame that is reminiscent of the great bridges and famous towers built in the 19th century, opens its panels and drawers into a veritable Eldorado of functional storage.
Its gold leaf finish is a cave of light that will not leave the viewer indifferent.
Dresser, library, take your pick, because the STONE sideboard, with its flamboyant gilt edges is a multifunctional sideboard, a true representation of the creativity of designer Marco Sousa and the avant-garde which is evident in the BAT EYE range.
